Déjà Vu

I was standing at the end of the road looking and searching around when I went back in time as in a déjà-vu mode.
I saw two lovers holding hands, walking along the street, enjoying this ancient city, the view, the sea. Seeing them made me smile, they were so sweet.
She had this wide smile on her face, her hair was flying wildly in the air. Her eyes were on him as if she wanted this scene to get imprinted in her head, it felt like she wasn’t seeing anything else, as if about the rest of the world she just didn’t care!
He was like in a dream, enjoying every moment, every word she was saying, every smile, every touch. He was like scared of waking up, of leaving behind those minutes that he was loving so much.
With a kiss they ended their walk, they got into that red car, and drove past a me that was still in shock.
Suddenly, time forwarded and I found myself standing alone with your hand not in mine, with a face without a wide smile.
I went back to my red car, drove past those streets that we once enjoyed, and asked myself “Where are those two lovers now?!”
